From the window, I saw the mail man placing a priority shipping box in the mail box, and wondered what it could be. I soon had the box in hand and saw it was from Jim McNeil, cool! I tore it open and dicovered a beauty inside. I have been friends with Jim for some time now, and have another of his calls, the scout, so I am familiar with his work. On my birthday recently Jim had shown me a preview of the call in progress. Jim had made a nice bamboo case for the call, and I opened it up and discovered a jewel inside.
I had asked for black wrappings, and am pleased with my choice. Jim's craftsmanship is impeccable, fit and finish outstanding, remniscent of a fine bamboo flyrod (if you ever make any, put me down for one Jim!) Of course, I wondered how it would play.
Those that know me well, know I am not one to blow smoke, all I can say is Jim, I am very pleased with this call, it plays effortlessly with great tone, I love it! If you are a connoisseur of fine things and turkey calls in particular, you won't be dissappointed with one of Jim's Jordan calls. (You know where to send the check for the review Jim!) Good Golly David...that is a wonderful call and oh so good to have from a friend.  You appear to be spot on with the fit and finish and the design--well that speaks for itself!!

Glad you like the yelper, Dave. The black epoxy and black thread wrappings was a great choice... fits you to a tee. It was my pleasure to make it for you. I don't get on the forums much anymore, so I appreciate you sharing. Thank you for all of the nice comments, guys... appreciate it.
