Sweet looking calls.  Love the the look of that lacewood, how do you like the sound?   I have some in the shop right now ready to go on a call.

Todd, it makes a great sounding call, but the saw dust irritates my skin.

Alan, I'm not sure if they are the same, but I know both names are intermixed sometimes.

Tim, you do very nice clean work, I like the subtle but different enough alterations you have done to make them 'your' style--very sharp *up*

That lacewood sure is pretty.. and you are right, checkering and inlays would detract from it.I made some strikers out of it some years ago..worked good
