for awhile..head stock shaft is bent on my lathe so im gona be down and out until i can get saved up for a new one.... *cry* *cry* *cry* *cry* *cry*

hope so...i have a few made up hopefully i can get em gone soon...cant turn anymore till i get a new lathe...

It must be going around man....I hate it for you....
In the last week I have burnt up a table saw and a sander....pulley broke on my drill press and broke 2 lathe belts..... :'(

yeah it sucks to say the least...i have 2 shows comin up that i am not gona be able to do...dont have the funds to replace it right now....i knew it had a slight wobble noticed it turnin trumpets but now its bad enough i cant even turn a pot...comes out oblong *wha*
figure if i gota get another might as well get what i want..that delta vs...just might take a bit...

Have you looked into getting parts to fix it? Not sure what your running for a lathe, but I have ordered parts from these guys with good results, quick turn around too. Ignore the Jet parts if your running something different, on the left side of this page they list all the tools they carry parts for. Dave i thought bout it...but im runnin a harbor frieght special *lol* would rather just save for what i want and be done with it...

fergot to mention i broke the guide arm on my band saw too....it might be some VODOO :ghost:

Delta makes a good lathe, my only complaint has been the tail stock likes to creep, you really have to lock her down, hopefully they have fixed it on the newer ones
