Title: Ghost Maker Curly Maple

I sent a blank to Ed to have made into a call. He sent me back this beauty in ceramic over glass with curly maple & I think canary? Ed help me out on that one  ;D

I was surprised this blank had so much character- curl, spalting, & even a worm hole  RkLu A big thanks to Ed for turning this one for me, she's all turkey!!!

Yep, the other striker is canarywood Shad.  That wood sure is pretty, has an overall light brown color with curl and ambrosia stains.  Very nice piece of wood.  Glad you like it Shad!

Well well now Shad, you picked a fine piece of wood for ole Ed to turn.  I think I may have seen some wood like that before, but I couldn't use since the worms were trying to carry it away on me.

It's great wood with awesome character. I think anyone wanting some wood like that might do well to contact someone that has seen wood like that the worms were trying to carry away......  ;D  *cheers*
