Well I decided I'd better getting posting some Nashville calls before JR pulls the  ban button on me  *lol*  J/K...

Here are some wonderful calls I ended up with from Charlie. 

My collection lately has started taking a turn toward old school calls and these fit that bill very nicely!!!

And last but not least, an assortment of yelpers from Charlie.  These are older ones and he said built upon how they did them back in the 50's or so...  Very interesting to say the least :)

Congrats. Mike you sure have a nice collection of calls there and all good ones for sure. It's good you didn't have to go through a weigh station.

Charlie makes some nice calls. He still lurks on here sometimes and occasionally pops his head up. Wish he posted more often.

I meet his in Nashville in 2011 had a great talk with him.

He's still kicking and alive.  I hadn't talked to him for awhile, so I sent him a text.  He had a nasty tumble and broke his left hand (I think that was the hand). 

Charlie is a super cool guy and I've been lucky to call him a great friend all these years.  Hoping to go down and visit him some time.  I'll give him a call tomorrow.  The last time I talked to him he was a guide for a blind man and he shot a heck of a deer.  Charlie guides more than anyone I know and I didn't think Florida had big deer until I saw the picture!
