Hey everyone, post up those trophies!!  I am itching for hunting season and need to see some success pictures.  Here are a couple to get you started.

My 10-Point Buck taken in about 2003.  And my dad's 350lb blackbear...bothe were taken right here in good old PA.

How do you guys hunt bears in Pa?

Bear hunting in PA is tough work.  Mostly people drive for them in large gangs.  Baiting is not allowed.  This one we watched for about two years as he was staying on my father-in-laws farm.  I actually saw him at about 70 yards three weeks prior while turkey hunting.

Great PA trophies Lee. As Lee said most people drive them here in PA. Last year we drove an extremely steep thick mountain with 15 guys and came out with 2 bears. I have nothing against bear hunting I just don't enjoy it much. I'd like to get one to make a rug out of and that's it.

Lee will that osage/purpleheart call work on bears ???  J/K RkLu RkLu

That is one nice bear!!!  Wish I had a deer that nice on the wall too!

The purpleheart/osage will probably work better as a bear deterent!!  Ain't nothing NOT going to know you are around when you stroke that caller!!
