Was thinkin of buyin a new saw,and was wonderin if anyone has heard anything good(or bad) about Ridgid saws.My Delta is in decent shape but I'm gettin tired of replacin switches.Also its a right tilt,and I would rather have a left.
Any comments, suggestions,or info would be appreciated.

I use the rigid contractor saw, and I really like it! The rip fence is really quite decent and has a thumb dial for micro adjustments. The only beef I have is with the dust collector attachment I had to get an MJ connector to go to a 2 inch fitting

I recently did an exceptional amount of research on tables saws smaller than cabinet saw sizes. Found the Bosch 4100 DGS is rated quite superior to all others and is the most sought after small/portable size saw among professionals, DON"T LET ITS SMALL SIZE FOOL YAH, it runs like a full size shop saw with the accuracy. So, my brother in law and I both went out and got 1 each, couldn't be happier. That sucker has 4hp, left tilt, 10", solid and very accurate fence system and lots of power/speed. Aside from being exceptionally accurate, its very quite too. The portable stand that comes with it could not be designed any better either. You can find it at Lowes and Sears and even the best buy on Amazon.com with free shipping. The Rigid doesn't rate bad at all either. In fact it is recommended 2nd to the bosch in the same size catagory. You will not regret the Bosch. Hope this Helps yah bud. Let me know what you end up with. I have the ridgid tablesaw with the herculift. Although I don't use the herculift I love this saw. I cut anything from inlays to 8/4 osage and have had no complaints for what I paid. Would love a saw stop, powermatic or steel city cabinet makers saw but just can't justify it yet. That saw has plenty of guts is heavy and stable and very accurate IMHO.
