Title: My decorative wingbone entry
Post by: stevelumma on February 21, 2011, 10:22:53 PM
This call was inspired by a "pet" Black Widow spider I caught  in Virginia in my early twenty's. I had that spider for about 2-3 years before it died (old age I guess). This call took 5th place at this years show.
It's titled the "Widowing"

I thought it was a very cool concept Steve, kinda disappointed with where it placed myself.
I didn't bid on it because I can't play one but the artwork alone would be worth the price.
keep up the awesome work.

P.S. I am going to get one of your bones one day, I promise.

I hear ya Brian, I was pretty shocked when I seen it came in 5th, but I can only guess that the theme was to blame. Think I was thinking too far out of the turkey call box. Taking risks can help or hurt, but I'm gonna keep out of that box  ::)
