I don't know how many of you were able to go to the Opry while in Nashville. My son got us tickets for Friday night. The closing act was Don Schlitz whose first hit song was "The Gambler". He was having supper with Vince Gil that night and came on at the close at his request. He sang it as was orginally written and he exited to a standing ovation. It ran chills down your spine just like that big ole Gobbler does. It was definately one of the highlights of the trip. Another was seeing 3 huge gobblers on the north side of 65 South about 10 miles outside of Nashville when we left for Ms. *up*

I got to see and hear that. It was really good. I had actually seen him on GAC Tv about two weeks prior and he sang the same song. I know it was a thrill for him. I thought Craig Morgan was really good, also. Of course, Little Jimmy Dickens was entertaining.
