Here is my Rose engine turned entry which was blessed with a 1st place in the open air operated category.  African Blackwood, elephant ivory mouthpiece, faux ivory bell.

Danny,

Everyone has different taste.  But, for my taste, this is one of the most beautiful calls (turkey, duck, goose, or otherwise) I have ever seen.  You have mastered your craft.  Congratulations.  The call and base are breathtaking.

It certainly appears that you have mastered that Rose engine lathe..that caller is almost beyond description

Danny, absolutely stunning. WOW!!!!! I would vote that caller, Best of Show. Makes my eyes water, I am saving this picture. Most handsome yelper my eyes ever feasted on.

Thank you guys for all the kudos.

To say that I'm thrilled with the reception this call has had is an understatement.  While making this call, I was very anxious how this art form, when applied to a call, would be accepted in the call making and collecting world.  My anxiety has been quieted, and the wheels are turning for new designs.

That may be the nicest "yelper,...sucker thing" that i have ever seen.  Great Work.  Talent like that deserves to be awarded in a much larger way.......again....Great Job.
