I haven't posted anything here yet, but wanted to tell the tale of a call I made.
This is the Trumpet I started on this Fall for a late season hunt with my son. I went for a clean sleek look, and tuned her up to kill turkeys. We used it on that late season Fall hunt, and called in a pair of birds with it. My 7 year old and I doubled on those birds. Then I decided it was destined to make a show appearance. So I buffed it out and placed it into a few Decorative Call Contest. I'm glad I did! It took First place at Midwest, First place as one of two calls in Minnesota as a Decorative Set, and Second place at Nationals! The call is made out of Black Water Buffalo Horn with Aluminum mouthpiece, lanyard groove, and bell.

Congratualtions on the many accomplishments of this call, but most of all the one that was shared on the double you and your son were able to share with this call. I compliment your craftsmanship.
