Dylan ,,,you're gonna ruin that young back of yours a totin' all them trumpets you been c'llectin' . Pockets on your britches and coat will become all fraid and ragged from havin' 'em stuffed with boxes an' such , rubbin' on brush and fences, not to forget you don't wash your clothes during the business part of spring . Why , by seasons end you'll be walkin' like an ol' gobbler ,,,lookin' at the ground all bent over with your head and neck stretched a way out in front of your body . If you fail to go home ev'ry day or two your folks won't even recognize you when you do show up .
I don't know feller . Are ya gonna be able to go like that ? Will ya have room for some food 'n' water among all that stuff ? I mean , ,,,well goodnight , if you get caught out in them mountains by a big thunderstorm ,and the wind gets up , why , the noise of the wind a blowin' through all them trumpets will have folks down in the valleys thinkin' the end is near *cry*.
I recommend you set out some paper , ink bottle and one of your finest quilled specimens from one of your deceased turkeys and write down a systematic plan that'll allow you to enjoy each call you have . Spread them out ,,,say ,,three calls for each day of season . Of course , if you do hunt ev'ry day this spring ,,,next fall ,,and the same next year ,,,you still probably wouldn't have played all your calls . But , that's better than a ruined back .
Congrats on your new additions to the stuff that fools turkeys .
