Title: SPURS

What is the best way to clean spurs? Can you boil them, like wingbones? Or do you have to just let them dry in Borax? Any info will be helpful, Thanks!

I just cook mine till the cap falls off in water w/ a teaspoon of dishwashing lig......

     Clean out the marrow of the leg bone and there are ready.

     Some guys like to bleach the leg bones, but I do not..

I punch out the marrow and bury them in Borax for three weeks. Once dry I scrape off any dried meat.
Then, I put about three coats of clear shoe polish on the spur.

I usuallly just put some rem oil on them and polish them.  Looks nice and shiney that way...

Poprter probably just mails them to someone and lets 'em dry the natural way ! What's that smell ? *lol*
