Title: An ugly turkey
Post by: Blackfalcon on February 05, 2011, 11:28:28 AM
I was talking via web cam to a friend of mine in Australia, and was surprised when she said there were wild turkeys there, ugly birds she said and to my surprise  she said no one hunted them. I told her it was one of my obsessions, turkey hunting, and that I thought they were beautiful birds. After seeing a picture of the wild turkeys they have down under, I can understand her opinion!  ROTFLMBO ROTFLMBO

The yellow is from a diet consisting of hedge apples and prickly pears, I think we should pass the hat and import some to Porter's and Daryl's hunting land. Can you imagine the look on Porters face if they called one of these guys in?? ROTFLMBO

I was browsing on a fella's website the other day (not going to say who's) and saw Porter kneeling behind a couple that looked about that scrawny.

Watched the utoob video . I think if you fellers are gonna hunt 'em , ya better have a back up gunbearer. Any bird that size that can put a giant lizard to runnin' jus' mite attack if ya miss or wound it .

Might consider the fightin' purr call and some 00Buck .

Also , now we know why they don't hunt 'em,,,,probably more dangerous than cape buff.
