Title: BigTom's Wood Pile Call

Tom posted pics of this call last spring that he had made from a piece of Maple from the wood pile.  This call accounted for two longbeards last spring including the demise of Sneaky Pete.  I had told Tom that if this call ever came up for sale I'd like to have it.  Well last fall Tom told me he was selling it but being that I've been out of work for over a year now I didn't have the money to buy it.  *cry*
To my surprise Tom and my girlfriend conspired to get the call into my hands.   *peep*
I was very shocked to open one of my Christmas gifts and this call was in the box.  I actually had a tear in my eye.  This call has and always will have a special place in my vest.  Looking forward to putting at least one more notch in it this spring!!  RkLu

Glad you got that one from your buddy. I know it is special to you. Congrats and definitely get some more blood on her.

Lou thanks for sharing this.  I think deep down we all have that favorite call and one that has so much meaning to us!  I cannot imagine a better home for that caller!

that is one special call and the whole story o how it got to you even makes it more special.
