Title: cherry and paduak boxcall
Post by: firedup on January 23, 2011, 08:11:32 PM: Some nice cherry for the body. Paduak lid and base. Lid has a touch of holly inlay and a carved longbeard for an extra lucky charm. A rabbits foot carved into the lid just wasn't near as cool! 8) I really like the sound quality from a cherry & paduak box. Great combo.

I like this combination--I have made a few just like it and each one produced some real nice higher end rasp that cuts through on a windy day.
