I haven't got the urethane sprayed yet but it won't be long before these are headed out.

David,

Quit being so modest...see, I am not the only one who recognizes great quality when I see it--your wood burning is a real inspiration ;)

Thanks guys! Give me some ideas what looks good on calls. I had one feller tell me at work today,"the coon looks good but doesn't belong on a turkey call" His partner wants a call like it. He's a coon hunter. Everyone likes different things. I had an idea and picture of two bucks fighting. One guy said it is a great picture but not for a turkey call. Give me some ideas? PM me if you want or reply on the post. Whatever you want, but I'm wanting new ideas of artwork. Remember, it's wood burning and extreme detail can be a booger.

Thanks again for all the kind words
David

David, Awesome work my friend, and for the guy that says it doesn't belong on a turkey call......phooey I say. Anything in the woods you may see while on a turkey hunt, spring or fall is game in my book. These are turkey calls , but this is art. No boundary's my friend!!!!!!!!

Nice work David! I agree with Steve, it is art, no boundaries... I remember one morning we were set up on some birds, had just made a few clucks on a trumpet..twig snapped just behind us, coyote was within ten feet sneaking in. That would be a cool scene depicted on a call. I think any kind of outdoor drama is great, predator/prey "gotcha" or near miss moments are great themes, or anything commemorating a hunt
