Well there is a big story behind this box, but I'll not tell to keep ole Sparky from getting into trouble  *lol*

I saw him posted that Red Cedar/AYC caller and McKamey put me up to asking ole Bobblehead about it.  I asked Tim if it was spoken for and just silence over the phone.  I figured I had the guy.  Was going to give him a guilt trip, but in the end.. .it was me who felt sorry. 

I told Tim that I was serious about that combo, but I didn't want to take a special call away from him.

Any way, a few weeks later... here came a Red Cedar/AYC caller. 

I'm slowly starting to like the sound of cedar in a call, but I've always been a nut about Yellow Cedar. 

Tim thanks for building me a great short box and hopefully it will see some blood this spring!

That is just a fine looking box caller. Great contrast and I am sure a real player.

When ole "Sparky"....aka---BOBBLE HEAD....finished that one up he called me and played it. He was like an old banny rooster---proud of a real good sounding call. Said he wasnt going to post it to sell---he was planning on keeping this one.
Ole Porter called and talked about the call so he we went---too good an opportunity to pass up.
Time to....CONSPIRE against Bullock !!!......so me Porter laid the trap.. He dreamed up the plan of him calling about buying the call. Well ole Porter described Bullocks reaction.
I heard the call and its a darn fine one for sure. Porter---ya got a mighty fine call there.
I just wish we could have tormoiled Sparky more before he gave in to pass it on !!!!

Mike..congrats on a fine call from Tim.  I am sure you will use it this spring and cedar is not bad in a call at all.  Enjoy!

Sweet looking call, I like the sound of an all cedar caller.  ;)
