More pics of the second and third pots I have made. The one on the left is a 3 1/4 wormy butternut glass over glass and the one on the right is a 3 1/2 cherry with slate over glass. I am still trying to get the CA finish down so these are what you would probably considered a field grade finish.

The strikers are western red cedar, I think some kind of mahogany(it was from a pallet runner) and I believe beech(this one came from an upright out of a 100 year old piano). The 2 strikers on the left I put back in the lathe after my first pot and turned down the dowel diameter. I used the double thickness of glass as a gauge to set my sound board height and the sound coming out of these 2 is better than the first. Thanks to everybody for the advise and help you offered.
