Title: Last tree used by Walter Winterbottom. Pics. added

 Here is a picture of a stack of cedar I salvaged in Eminence Missouri recently. This cedar tree was cut in 1988 by Walter Winterbottom to use in making his last callers. I was given the privelage of cutting up the rest of the tree and will hopefully be able to use some of it to make some calls. It has laid there for over 20 yrs and all of the sapwood is rotted away but the beautiful red heart wood is in excellent shape. Some of you know that I have a habit of using wood with a history to it when making my calls. I think it adds more soul to the callers! This is a special stack of wood to me , hope you enjoy the pictures ! Should make a few fine looking calls. Sure do like that red color.
