Alright fellas the moment is drawing near, we have only one week left in the season... Just as soon as the final results post, we will begin the prize selection lottery. I want to take the time to thank all of you who participated as this years contest has been great. The participation has been the largest since the inception of the contest in 2007. I'm really excited about the new prize format and I hope everyone enjoys the satisfaction of getting something this year.
So how is this going to work? After the final results are posted we will begin drawing for prizes. The winner will get the first choice, the runner up will get the second choice, the third place finisher will get the third choice, and so forth and so on. Remember, as part of the contest you must contribute something and you cannot choose your own item as your prize.
You will post your selection to this thread and I will do my best to keep the next person aware of their turn and whats available. Once you make your selection it is then your responsibility to make contact with the individual and exchange shipping details, etc. If you make your selection and cannot get in touch with the individual, please let me know. All contest entrants appear to be Osage Roost members. We have a great bunch of fellas involved here in the contest so I dont expect this to be a problem.
Some experiences I want to relay from previous contests; timeliness is extremely important. Sending out a caller/gift to another entrant and then waiting months for your prize really sucks. Lets aim to get all the prizes exchanged before Christmas. Its simply the right thing to do and we've known this day was coming for some 4 months.
Lastly, lets see the wonderful gifts we're all recieving. Please post a pic to let everyone know what you recieved!

Alright fellas, Lets get the prize selection started this week. I am very pleased to have the first choice, but I must admit that before choosing my prize I'd really like to see what Mr. Porter has to offer. Probably a case of morbid curiosity on my part.. *lol*.
I'll post my choice and then we'll go right down the list. Remember... you cannot choose your own offering and you are responsible for getting in touch with the persons who's offering you have chosen.
Thanks again for participating fellas, you've been great. This has been a fun way to get callers in peoples hands and I hope the gift exchange serves as a little Christmas cheer for each of you. Its been my pleasure putting the game together for us this year and I'd be happy to do it again next year if ya'll would like.

The way I read it, it appears Porter is offering the two calls as a single lot... Both calls are heading to Dave Powers... I dont want to speak for Porter, so maybe he can clarify..
You can always count on Porter to make things difficult..

If they are indeed two seperate offerings and Dave wants the checkered box then I'd agree with you and the Turpin box is still available. Lets give Porter the opportunity to chime in...

Sorry for the confusion. I should have said Porter's calls. I was overwelmed by all the great calls. The email from Porter says he is sending both to me. Not that it will make a difference but I will put both my calls the walnut and cedar in for who picks my offering.

Because of Creekrockets choice and the rule which indicates you cannot choose your own item the rest is academic. There are 2 items left and Misfire cant choose his own so he will take the trumpet from Creekrocket and that leaves amims5 to recieve the friction caller from Misfire.
I trust that you guys will get in contact with one another and make arrangements.
Thanks again to all of you for participating. I'm thrilled with how smoothly this lottery process went, all of you guys really came through. I do intend to do a contest again next year and any feedback about improving the contest is certainly appreciated. Until then, have a safe and happy holiday and enjoy the Bowl Season...
