Mr. Steve Torman, aka West Augusta, made me another killer set of his fine hand-made strikers. Most of you know how much I really like fine strikers and I can assure you the ones made by Steve rank right with the best I have seen. Sound seems to resonate out of the hollow heads and they run well on any surface. These are L to R:
Apple, Spalted Dogwood, and Bradford Pear.

Rickey I'm not sure which one I like better... have a very fond liking of dogwood... so that would probably be it :)

Mike,
You could close your eyes and pick one and you would have a winner with this group. I started out liking the Dogwood best but the Pear is so unique and sounds so good it is becoming my favorite.
