Hope ya'all had a grateful Thanksgiving.  

Well, here is the second call in this series.  African Blackwood and Pink Ivory, with sterling silver ferrule and ivory mouthpiece.  This is going to be under the Christmas tree for a young man.  Enjoy

Again, One of the best pieces of craftsmanship you will see. This is the second of two awesome pieces of work! Great job Danny! Some young man is gonna have a GREAT CHRISTMAS!

I don't know much about those types of calls or how to build them but ,,,,,,that looks tough. The joints and turning are impressive.

Spur,  I make my own blanks. It's a lot of work and very time consuming and tedious.

Danny,

I've admired the first call you made like this since I first saw it.  The work is flawless.  The lines are so clean between the materials.  And I love the combo.  I have no idea how much time it takes to laminate something like this, but, however much time, it pays off in a totally remarkable work of art.  And the planning to get the star effect in the bell is stunning.  Magnificent.
