I always wanted a vintage looking powder measure that would throw the correct amount of shot, and powder by volume, for my old percussion SxS. After looking over the ones for sale on Ebay and the way they were put together, I came up with this fixed design, then antiqued it. The handle is soldered to the measure, not the neatest job, but I know they won't come apart.

Very nice, Ralph..it definitely has the vintage look to it..is that a cartridge case.?

Thanks. It is 5/8" brass tube stock. The base has a shoulder cut in it to fit 1/16" into the tube. "1 1/4" is stamped on the bottom. When I get time I will make some more that will be a neater job and not show so much solder.
