Title: Testimony
Post by: M Sharpe on October 27, 2010, 06:53:30 AM: During the week of Oct.11th, I was going through a bout with kidney stones. This went on for the entire week and on into the next week. I was praying for God to remove these stones, my wife was praying for God to remove these stones, and my church was praying for the same. My Pastor even sent me a text that read: God please remove all stones from Mark. Amen. I knew that the stones had moved to my bladder. I had an appointment with the urologist on the 18th. He asked what I wanted to do, crush them or take Flo-max. I elected to crush and still get the perscription to help pass the fragments. I was sent to the hospital for pre-registration. They would not do it because of high blood pressure. No problem, I'd go get the prescription for the Flo-max. I got there and no prescription had been called in. That's when it hit me!!!!!!! God did not move those stones to my bladder for a mortal man to take the credit and glory for removing. God started answering those prayers and He was going to be the one to remove them. Three days later, I passed one huge one and a smaller one. One was about the size of a black eye pea and the other about half that size. A day later, I passed another black eye pea sized one. 2 Peter 3:8 says; "But, beloved, be not ignorant of this one thing, that one day is with the Lord as a thousand years, and a thousand years as one day." I realized now that as soon as that prayer went up, God began answering. Problem is, our time and God's time are not the same. We are an impatient bunch of people that want it now. Pray works, but in our times of pain and suffering God can seem very far away. But, He promises to never leave nor forsake us. So, I thank God every day for the work, good and bad, He has done in my life.
