This is a box I am going to trade a friend of mine for one of his. He is a master call maker ,a retired farmer and a really nice guy. I am doing this more out of appreciation for the help and advice he has given me about call making. Heck , I am still new to call making and will need a lot more advice, I am sure. It is made from koa and walnut. It also has a gold plated tractor in the lid.  Roc

The wood is flat out beautiful Gary, and the little touch with that tractor will mean alot to him

Thanks for the kind words!! The call maker is Darryel Helm. I was impressed with a call I bought from him, his craftsmanship is second to none. I eventually made friends with him, and started to ask him about call making. He took the time to help some no nothing guy, who wanted to try and make turkey calls. He explained everything from doing the check pattern to how to set up his table saw to cut his inlay. Not many people would take the time to do that. I will always be grateful for his help and his friendship. Roc
