Title: Tiger Maple with Walnut
Post by: jmck on September 21, 2010, 09:56:03 AM
Here is one I have been fighting the color on. Finally got it like I wanted it, Its a Tiger Maple stained to give it a 3 d effect. It has great shimmer in the sunlight. The striping is tight and heavy. It has a Walnut lid and base, and the lid is inlayed with Tiger Maple inlays.
I decided not to checker the body or the lid to enhance the beauty of the wood.
It's looking for a home if anyone is interested. It is a good one.
