I have always been fascinated by the work of Steve Torman, aka West Augusta, with his hand made strikers. When my buddy Jim posted a pair of strikers recently I contacted Steve and he agreed to do some for me also. I cannot imagine the hours that goes into making these by hand. I have run them on every surface pot call I have and they sound awesome on all I have tried. They are Black Locust, Persimmon, and wormy Red Oak.Thanks Steve for taking the time to make these for me.

I bet his hands are sore at night.....Those are truly amazing! Great work!
-
The forearms get sore not the hands. I only get to work on them for a half hour or so a day so it isn't too bad. Wish I had the time to do more.
-
The lack of time and the few you turn out is what makes them even more special *cheers*
-
Thanks Shad, that means a lot. *cheers*
