Starts our bowling season!!!!! I am so pumped! I'm ready to get some boots on the ground and do some hunting!
It's been a very very hectic work load and I'm ready for some relaxation!
Hope to at least get some great photos!!!

Todd---dont give the YELLER FOOL any ideas----that thing is alot more accurate than his gun from what I hear. I wander if that cannon would burn a hole in the roof of his favorite hunting blind, or if it would damage his remote control decoy and worse yet......stain his KNEE PADS ???

Well what a morning I had. Was in birds all morning. Just never could close the deal :(
Farmer on Monday said he had clear cut most of the farm. So curiosity got the best of me and around 7:30 this morning, I got out of the blind and walked down the road. Why I left my bow behind, I'll never know.
Anyways, I'm about 2 to 300 yards away from my setup and I pull out my KP trumpet. I start messing around and I hear a hen respond. I start cutting and yelping on it and a long box and next thing I know, I have a hen 10 yards away. No weapon and my face and hands are exposed. She alarm putts and I keep her around. The woods were erupting with kee kee's and yelps.
Go back to my setup, and @ 8:30 I have 10 good sized hens 60 yards in front of me. I could not get them to budge and I had to settle to watch them.
Pretty darn good morning for me. Saw one buck (decent sized) right at daybreak and that was about it. This farm has a good turkey population, so maybe this weekend I can score!
So all in all, no bowling balls were sent down range today *cry*
