Title: another little gem from Lamar Williams
Post by: jmck on September 13, 2010, 09:12:24 PM: Here is one that probablly should be in the collectors section, but here it is. It is a cedar body shortbox that is one closing machine let me tell ya. Its a sweet little soft caller that will flat out doop em I sware. It is so subtle and soft sounding-----they dont have a chance. It has a unique side to it in that it is half red and half white one one side. This call has it let me tell ya, but then when have ya seen one of Lamars that didnt have it !!!!

I ignored the other because he had a beard that I have seen better ones on hens!!! I fooled around trying to grow spurs on the other 2 birds and let the bird get flat out up on me. He had a little better than 1 3/4 inch spurs. I almost didnt get the shot ....but I did *cheers*
