Title: Birds & Bucks at The Honey Hole- Pic Heavy

Went for another walk this afternoon to try out a few of the cane yelpers I put together. Even thought I didn't think they sounded that great the turkeys didn't mind. The were clucking & yelping back and came out to see me. I could see a bunch still in the woods but I had a few brave souls checking me out. I will post photos of the calls when they are finished- don't  ban me Porter!

As I was walking out and about to go through a field I noticed a few deer grazing. I didn't count but I'm guessing there were about 30+ deer in the bunch. It's the most bucks I have seen in one spot. There were 5 really nice ones and several 6 point and under bucks.

Shad..you guys in Illinois are fortunate but you my friend have a honey hole! Great Pics!

I'd love to live in an area where access to wildlife like that is so available.  Its probably hours away from where I live, but on the other hand we do have white sand, palm trees, blue-green water, and bikinis... So I reckon it all works out!

Great pics, Shad  you are indeed fortunate to live so close to abundant wildlife. I would trade all the sand and ocean down here for a place like that.
