heck no, it shouldn't be allowed no matter what anyone says!!!!! Just curious as what many of your thoughts are on this matter. I for one am extremely pissed off and tired of the cowering going on to their faith. This week I see where they are making suddle threats to us about if we stop the building of it. I for one say... lets throw down and let it come to what ever it comes to. The mentality of "Being politically correct" is making me sick. Bring it on and lets roll!!! crap ain't never gonna stop with the middle east until people grow some balls and put their feet down. I truly believe war is coming either way with them(Muslims) so why delay the inevitable. Oh and I am done with listening to Obama, wish the people would step up and oust his pathetic rear end. Am I wrong with my feelings?

Jason in my opinion you are not wrong! I have signed a dozen petitions to stop it. I am feed up with all the cowering to their fanatical religion. If I could I would be 1st in line to stop it PHYSICALLY! Obama is a Muslim and the sooner he is out of office the better.

What I get tired of hearing is how this country was founded on religious freedom. That is true; but, on Christian religious freedom. Not Muslem beliefs.
This has been used against the American people. Our founding fathers did not set this country up to be used by other religions. We as Americans have witnessed something that no other nation has witnessed. For no other nation has lasted as long as we have. If we read our Bibles, we will see there is no mention of America during the tribulation period. God did promise to make a great nation out of Ishmel. I know we all believe that time is drawing to a close. This could be the start of that closing.
Do I believe the mosque should be built there? Certainly not!!!! Did God intend for us to have Kings or Presidents? No!! I do believe we serve a soveriegn God and if it be his will, there is nothing you or I can do about it, except get ready for what is to follow!!!! God tells us He will come as a "thief in the night". Two men will be in the field working, one will be gone and one will be left. I for one want to be that one that is gone!!!!!!

I don't know if you realize,but everybody in America, are not Christians. America was founded on religious freedom, and the right to practice your religion without threat. How many fine American men have given their lives ,in all our wars, that were not Christians. They fought and dead just as any other man did, defending the great country of America and her way of life. Wasn't their spilled blood just as red as any other man. Wasn't their mother's grief just as strong. Or their child's tears just as salty. I would die defending the right of freedom in our great country.But, I am also tried of this country bending other backwards for all these other countries. We need to bring our troops home, and tell the rest of the world, that if you mess with us, we are going to kick some...!!! If we are attacked, we should take out some of the infrastructure of any country that we know harbors these chicken *poo* fanatics. Turn their country into a glass parking lot. We also need to let these other countries foot the bill and protect their own butt. We have to stop being the police of the world and take care of our own people! How many churchs are there in any of these countries? NONE !!! You are either Muslim or you get out. Every one of those people are Muslim, henceforth their ability to stand together. These people should have never been allowed to get a toehold into this country. Everyone of them believe what the Quran says. Only ONE- THIRD of the people of these United States believes what the Bible says. We, as Americans, need to blow the dust off of God's Holy word, and start living it. SIXTY- SEVEN percent says the Bible has no effect on society today. We have to realize that we are nothing on our own. Without the blessings of God, we are doomed for failure. Those aren't my thoughts, but God's words. And to prove it, all you have to do is start in Genesis chapter one to find out what happens to a disobedient nation.
Now, if we want to be mad at someone, it should be ourselves for not standing on God's word. One day we will all stand before God, Christian and non-Christian alike, to give an account of ourselves. I for one, want to be put with the sheep and not the goats to be cast into an eternal fire and damnation. Do I want my nation back? You bet!!!!! But thirty-three percent can't get it back to where it should be!!!!!!!

I agree 100%, that one day you will answer to God. But whose is to say if it a Christian God or a Muslim God. I am not a religious man, but I am a very spiritual man, that believes in a higher power. I am not angry with anyone, but I don't think I would be too proud of either being a Muslim or Christian, seeing how many innocent men , women, and children that both sides slaughtered during the last 1000 years or so, in the name of their religion. Another thing, were will it end if you take away the rights of the Muslims to practice their religion anywhere they want. Next it will be no more hunting, no more trapping, no more guns, no more FREEDOM OF SPEECH!!!! It seems to me, it is you that wants to oppress other religions for the sake of your own. I agree with Jason, war is inevitable with these people. I have plenty of ammo and the ability to deliver it accurately. I too am fed up with the minority ruling over the majority, we cant pray at school, cant have the Ten Commandments dispayed in a government facility, cant have a nativity scene on government property. I am tried of putting our country second, also. WE need to get tuff with these fanatics and kick some butt!! The only thing they understand is the power of the sword. That is why our retributions, should we be attacked, need to be swift and deadly. Let these thugs know we are not going to sit back and take this crap. But,there is one thing you need to understand, that America is a melting pot of Christians, Muslims, Jews, Buhhdist, American Indians, etc. So if we put religion in our schools , gov. buildings, etc. we would have to use all the religions. When it says the right to practice religion, it doesn't say just the Christian religion. Another thing, Christians are a minority, not a majority in the USA and in the world. Most people in the USA are believers and not belongers. We believe in a higher power, but not organized religion. Why do you people think that the Christian religion is the only true religion? You people are starting to sound like the fanatic Muslims to me. I really hope that most Christians don't believe the fanatical ideas that you people seem to believe. Maybe if you radical thinkers, on both the Muslim and Christian sides, look a little deeper into your bibles and korans you would find the room in your hearts to understand each other. I don't want America to be thought as a bunch of bible toting skinhead, nazis. Nor do the Muslims want to be thought as a bunch of terrorist. I believe most Christians and Muslims don't have these radical ideas, and just want to be left alone to practice their religions without fear from others. GOD BLESS US ALL!!! Excuse me one moment. You are referring to us as "you people", so I guess you are not christian. For your information, Christians are not a "minority" , take a drive through any city and count the churches , supported by christians. Whether it is Catholic , presbyterian, methodist , church of christ , pentecostal... We are everywhere. For you to compare us to radical Muslims is a disgrace. Muslims want to destroy christanity and any other religion that is not Muslim. Christians , like those on here, want to destroy radical Muslims who seek to destroy our way of life and kill U.S citizens.. They do this by taking as many christian lives as possible. And as for being the minority just look at the numbers. Even M sharpe said you were. And no I am not a Christian, does that make me a bad evil person. I am not anything except a believer that wants to be able to choose what I want to believe, as long as it does not harm other people. I would defend that till my death against anybody, I don't care what religion. As for you LH, you are the one that is doing a disgrace to our service men and women. Do you think all the people that have dead in our wars were Christians? And as for the military, my father was in the service for 26 yrs. Our whole family had to make sacrifices. If any of you guys were lucky enough to have your butt saved by a fast mover, you better have remembered the mechanics that kept that bird in the air, my father was one of them, and later an instructor. I can remember having to move every couple of years, never keeping friends long.Birthdays when my father wasn't there. Hearing my mother crying at night, trying to keep us from hearing her. Not having my father's arms to hold me when I had a nightmare. I have been to more countries and continents than most of you guys have been to states. How dare you tell me about disrespecting our service men and the sacrifices that them, and their families made. Where I come from, those is fightin' words!!!!!

Fellow I am not disgracing anyone there is a long list of service men/women in my family as well..and my son is currently serving in the Middle East right now. He is Army, so don't bow up on me about sacrifices.
Too much liberal minded thinking is what got us to this point any way.. Or may be it was too many NON CHRISTIANS...
And I use the term meaning any Religion that does not recognize The Father, Son, and Holy Spirit.
So take another dose of that jagged little pill you trying to get people to swallow, about as long as it is not hurting anyone else thats BS.
This country was founded on Christian belief..and our founding fathers were well aware there would be other religions I just can't believe that they expected to have some that exclude God or would have accepted them.
They still were burning witches at the stake back then.

It is time for Americans to stand up for our country, no matter what religion, we are all still Americans. We need to stop fighting and bickering amongst ourselves. We need to show the rest of the world that we are united against any country or religion that threatens our way of life. Don't you understand, that this is a time in history, when America has to be united or we will fall divided. I hope your son comes back home to your family. I will pray for him, just as I pray for our soldiers and their families every night. I ask for your forgiveness if I offended you or your family. Gary

It is the Muslims who are declaring a war of religion, A Jehad as their religion so calls it. Its the Muslims who claimed their attacks against Christianity and this nation were in the name of their god Allah.
It is not the Christians or any other religion claiming war or hatred towards another... so why in the heck should muslims have any "Rights" to have say in anything here in the US, non the less build a mosque of the faith!! The freedom of religion does not mean a free ticket to act however you want. Rights by constitution are earned... both to acquire and to keep. Why should we respect them when they do not rerspect us. Further more their are a few sets or types of Muslim faith for those who may not no, such as Soonie and Sheite(spelling?). They have different views on the muslim faith and Christianity. Yeah, too many liberals is a big part of this nations issues. Before folks and all these liberal tree huggers get pushy on the freedom to all and rights for this and that they need to educate themselves on the muslim faiths and beliefs to have a better or at least basic understanding of what they are defending. Maybe thier ideals and opinions would be different!!!

Hey bud, as from me... all is good between you and I. Though I may not agree with your views I still respect your view points. I am not upset with you in anyway... just upset by what I see this country and its citizens accepting. Bottom line.... this isn't a perfect world filled with love and harmony as some of us would like it to be or think it is. Like my father taught me... it isn't good to fight but sometimes you have to throw a punch.
