I am pumped up for the upcoming season which opens in 3 weeks. I have stands set in three states and have set up cameras here in Ohio. Normal life , changes around here when it is deer season. I am in a tree every opportunity I get, with bow and video equipment. Between bowhunting for deer and turkeys, I build quite a few calls this time of year so there isn't much time for anything else until at least mid-December. Good luck to everyone. And to those of you who will be coming here to hunt, let's get it on !!!

Finally shot my bow for the first time yesterday.  We finally had weather below 90 degrees which made for a great day of shooting and BSing with other shooters.  I'm looking forward to the upcoming deer season as well as fall turkey.
Good luck to all and have a safe season!!

Got to sit on the front porch this morning and some deer have been feeding across the road in the pasture and man did it get my blood pumping. Memories, when they are all you have they are priceless. Hope y'all enjoy every second in the woods. We take it for granted till it's gone.

Ours opens Saturday!!! I went out last friday evening and shot a nice pig. He probably weighed about 80lbs or so....perfect for the grill *up* I pulled the Nuge on hime and let the arrow fly! That little joker sqeeled, turned, and ran off with a $15 broadhead stuck in his head or shoulder! I aint really sure which one it was; the head or the shoulder! All I know is, that he toted off that arrow never to be seen! I found good b *up*lood but called it quits after 22:00. I went back wednesday night to hunt the same stand, but still couldnt find him.  *cry*
I cant wait till deer season!
