It has been so hot that I have been working only a couple of calls on a long list. Here is a call that I am finishing for Chuck Rose, the Miss. Friction Champion. Chuck was hunting with a very talented callmaker friend of mine from Oxford, Ms., Joey Buchannan last year near Pontotoc. (Joey has killed the Royal Slam with his own recurve Swamprooter Bows). Joey pulled out a special one of a kind Gator Gobbling Stribbling that I had just finished for him. (I do have a soundbite of that call that Joey made). When the hunt was over, Chuck ordered one just like it. - Well here she is and I will say that it is one of the top three sounding calls that I have ever made. It is tuned raspy hen on the right and a one of a kind gobbler left, with a super mature gobble. The other call that I am tuning is for a new friend that I made on this site and equally talented. Mr. Dave (Blackfalcon) I will post a pictured or two of it in the next week or so.

I guess I should say that this one is Walnut with Cherry Topping.
