Title: Noisy release
Post by: deacon on September 09, 2009, 03:22:23 PM: I am using a Trufire release and have been noticing a clicking noise during the shot. I checked every screw on the bow and the fletchings clearing everything. All was good. I then tried shooting while holding the release instead of letting it drop and the click disappeared. The release has a spring in it that returns it to the closed position after it's fired. Anyone else had this problem???

That's my primary release... Which one did you get? I have the lil mongoose...

I bought the Shark. I was between the Lil Goose and the Shark. Shot both at the shop and liked the Shark a little more.

We are doing an afternoon/evening hunt hoping there will be fewer hunters and deer coming off the mountain.. *up*
