Title: LATEST LONGBOX FROM SHADETREE CALLERS- CHESTNUT/PURPLEHEART

Here is a caller I just finished tuning. It is made from very wormy chestnut I got from Al Shoemaker of S/S custom calls. The wood was salvaged from an old barn in PA. It has multiple holes going all the way through it that look really cool. I topped it off with a lid made from purpleheart with sycamore inlays and a couple feathers burnt in. This call has an incredible sound. Starts off with a nice kee and rolls over into a really sweet raspy yelp. This one is filled with turkey! This call needs a new home $ 100 . Thanks buddy. You were right about it ... that old wormy chestnut is a hard one to build right. She sounds really good. Thanks again for sending me that chestnut!
