Title: Curly hickory aluminum
Post by: Ghost Maker Calls on August 10, 2010, 11:39:38 AM: This one goes out today. I found an 8 ft piece of this hickory about 3 years ago and I only have 2 blanks left. The strikers are cherry and persimmon. Thanks for the look.

That's the first thing I told him the first time we talked on the phone! I can remember that conversation and thinking.. hickory ...

He does a great job with it and that's a very nice looking piece there!

I think hickory is my favorite wood for great sound in my pots. Thank you all for the kind words!
