The Honduras is some of the wood I got from Derby City! NICE STUFF!!!!!

Topped it off with a purpleheart lid and base. Inlays are Snakewood

Heard this one last night... now finally get to see it... 

I like purpleheart for a paddle... has a really raspy sound I like!

I always said checkering purple heart was like carving a brick.  I still llove the stuff.  Its much better than osage (Sorry Mike)

Nice call Richard, I Just wanted to let you know our call trade worked out well as I learned to use your box call pretty quickly and bagged a bird with it.

I made the mistake of buying a bunch of blanks to turn purpleheart strikers...boy was that a mistake..my tools are still not fully recovered.... :-\ But the stuff just sounds so good on a call....... ::)
