Spanish Cedar and Cherry....This is a killer combo for sure...has alot of bite!!!

Tim, Great looking call *up* - question.  I had a friend give me about 20 board feet of the Spanish Cedar.  I have not worked anything up, but it looks softer than mahogany.  Is that what you find?  I usually work in harder woods for cuttin calls and softer woods for the gobbling calls.  I was thinking of working some of the gobbling calls up in the Cedar and wondering how it worked. Thanks
