The wife joined me for a day fishing the shallows around Tampa Bay... and once again she caught the biggest fish of the day. This 33" redfish is the largest fish she's ever caught. The fish was much more powerful than she was expecting, but she toughed it out and landed a real beauty! I did manage to land a few myself including a 31" fish...

Man oh man... after watching some videos of Reds... I don't think I'd been able to bring a 33" in...
congrats and you need to start sabotaging her stuff so she's not as productive.. :) Nah it's great to get them interested. We mainly catch channel catfish around here and I always enjoy it when my wife catches the biggest one!

We looked for some schoolie sized reds but had no luck finding eatin' sized fish. All the reds we encountered were oversized for the slot restrictions... Thats okay, I like dropping them back to catch another day anyway...
