Title: Redneck Kiln
Post by: Gitzit69 on July 14, 2010, 11:19:01 AM
Found a new use for the SUV (Tahoe). I got some spalted maple a couple of weeks ago and the moisture content was 22%. Slabbed it up and set it in the back of the Tahoe. In a week it's now around 12%.

I tried that 2 yrs ago. It dried the wood too fast. Wood was so cracked I couldn't even get a striker out of it.
