Owner of the New York Yankees dies of Massive Heart attack at 6:30 this morning. Turned 80 on July 4th.

Oh my.. that is terrible.  I didn't realize he was that old either.

Love him or hate him, he was great for the Yankees and baseball as a whole. Just not so good for Billy Martin! ;D

I like him because he was win at all cost. In a society of "do your best" and "winning ain't everything" he was the exact opposite. It was win at all cost and spend whatever it takes. I think a lot of little league organizations and people as whole could take a lot from him. That's another debate for another day.
