Title: Zircote and Ironwood

Hot and humid here, first heat wave we've seen in about 7 years. Not going to complain though, last summer it rained, and rained,,lol. I did manage to get a couple of calls to the final stages. The first one is some beautifully figured Zircote, it is hard to see in the photograph, but in the sun it is quite striking. It is one of those calls that you hate to let go, but as much as I like it I figure the new owner will too.  The next is Desert Ironwood, another of my favorite woods in terms of sound to make a turkey call from, it has some really nice chatoyance that reminds me of cat's eye.

Both of those calls look great Dave. *cool*You are making some very nice trumpets using some great looking woods. The new owners will be happy I bet.

Both are very good looking callers. I like the simple design of your trumpet. water Buffalo mouth peices look great in those color of woods. Thanks for sharing, Mike
