Title: Slaton's Heavy Metal

Just got this pair of Persimmon Calls From Daryl Slaton. One is copper and the other is Titanium. He paired them with a few laminated strikers which sound great.Here is a picture I took today and few Daryl took.

Two outstanding callers there... how you like the titanium?  Does it ring your ears?  I have the sister in Osage.  Those 3" titaniums get loud!

Thanks for all the comments. I have been having fun plying these two metal pot calls. I have found out that the hard wood strikers make it sind loud and soft woods can tone it down a little. And with a little chalk on the striker tips I can play all my hard strikers and the soft one very easy. They both sound good with every striker from Gaboon Ebony to Pecan. This pair of calls are pure turkey. Thanks again to Daryl. See ya, Mike
