I got this fine paddle call today from my friend, Ralph Snodgrass who makes Lightning Strike Turkey Calls. I have never met Ralph in person but have talked to him several times on the phone. He is just a down-to-earth, humble person who definitely knows a thing or two about turkey hunting and turkey calls. I learn something new each time I visit with him. Some of you know about the Osage over Sassafras paddle call I have from him. It is a call he intended to keep for himself when he built it. I must have caught him at a weak moment. It is one of those calls that just can do it all. I use it and a couple paddle calls I have from Marlin as the standard to judge any new paddle call I get. I used the Sassafras exclusively to kill a fine Eastern gobbler in Kansas this spring.

Well let me tell you, this new Cedar over Butternut call from Ralph exceeds all the expectations I had for this call. It will also do it all, only better if that is possible. Thanks to Ralph for building me this outstanding call. Do yourself a favor and call Ralph and talk hunting and turkey calls with him. Then do yourself another favor and get one of his fine turkey killers.

Rickey another fine addition and I have to get one from Ralph... Just hoping he'll build another Osage one...  I know how much you cherish that caller, so I can only imagine how special this one is.
