What do you see when you look at a block of wood.

That is some beautiful cherry and that snakewood looks great on it!

The story on the Cherry is that I was at and estate auction where this old woodworker had passed and during the sale they sold all of his wood by the rack.  Well i seen this peice and asked the lady if she would part with just that block and I got it.  Alot of his wood came out of a old barn was looking it over good for some Chestnut but no luck.  I did pickup a 14 inch Jet bandsaw for $275 with 6 new blades.
