Well dang it al...now I'll have to confess...I purchased an SS Shorty from Al a few years ago...butternut/walnut...it has 22 kills....all mature gobblers...and eveyone that hears the call goes...sounds great, but it is high pitched...results speak for themselves...thanks Al!!!!!  *ride*

I can't get enough of that call. I'm gonna have to get myself one. Al, how does the volume and sound compare to the std 8 inch checkered short boxes?

The volume isn't as much as a standard box, but it will run much louder than you would normally call anyway. These calls have a great young hen sound with a nice two note yelp. A big plus is, it'll fit in your shirt pocket.  RkLu
