Title: Something Different!!

One of my favorite woods to build my Gobbler Box's out of is Siberian Elm. I've been wanting to build a short box out of it for some time so I bought a couple of blanks to give it a try. This one is Cherry over Siberian Elm and I couldn't be happier with the way it came out!!! This call is going to my good friend Lou who gave me back a Longbox that I sold him. I always told Lou that if there was one call I'm sorry I ever sold it was the Canaywood Longbox he has. Well this spring him being such a GREAT FRIEND he gave it back. Thank You Lou!!

That is a really clean looking box caller..looks classy.  *up* *cheers*   Congratulations on getting your long box back..Lou is a really good guy.   I've sold some that I wish I could get..but I'm not too lucky in such

I've had the pleasure of seeing and hearing this call already.  Matter of fact Tom called in a jake and a hen on Tuesday with it.  Another field tested call from Big Tom.  RkLu

The pics really don't do the Elm any justice, it is a much prettier wood than the pics could capture.  She's all turkey!!  RkLu

You're welcome for the longbox Tom!!  I couldn't hold on to it, even though it's a great sounding call, knowing that you wanted it back.  Lots of luck with it!!  *cheers*

Tom that wood is absolutely stunning!  I'm like Lou, except I've not seen it, in that I cannot imagine that picture shows the true beauty of the wood.

I have to say, Lou is a good guy too.  He's helped me out several times!

I can only imagine how hard it is to give a call back.  We become very attached to them, but it must have really meant something to you Tom and glad you got it back!
