I remember when Cokes were 3 cents and an Oatmeal cookie out of the jar at the store was 2 cents! So with a nickel it was a party! But getting a nickel was the challenge!

yea, we even drank out of garden hoses..... :o

    Rode on the front seat standing up w/ Dad's arm acrossed us :o

    Had one pair of dress shoes, one pair for school and our Converse sneakers, that were ultra cool in the day *up*
