Title: Obtaining Ivory?

What is the process by which one can obtain some Ivory for callmaking? Is it impossible? Reverend Zach Farmer told me that I would need to find some if I wanted a call in Ivory.

Most guys on Ebay are reputable. CharlesTurnage is great to deal with but it is pricey and best of luck with the Rev!

Last I heard Ebay has banned all selling of Ivory, I've looked but there are no listings. If your getting a trumpet call made you might look into hippo ivory. I saw some on the net a while back and it was a lot cheaper than elephant tusk.

Thanks for the info. guys. No Southern Spur, I did not inquire on where to purchase Ivory from the good reverend. I didn't want to seem pushy. I was able to get in contact with Mr. Farmer by writing him a letter. He called me soon thereafter. That is the only way I was able to speak with him.  He did give me his cell number. RkLu *up* Unfortunately, I won't be able to give that one out. Thanks again.
